1601 Market Street, a 36-story, 704,000 square-foot Class ‘A’ office tower, is situated at the heart of Philadelphia city center, steps from City Hall and on top of Suburban Station offering direct, covered access from train to desk. Redefining itself, 1601 Market Street heightened its appeal with the addition of an attractive glass façade, enhancing our retail offerings and expanding the second floor office loft space with dramatic 19-foot ceilings. Alongside the façade enhancements, the lobby was sleekly redesigned into a contemporary space resplendent with honed marble floors, radiant white panels and porcelain stone walls. Cutting-edge lighting was added showcasing the original lobby’s architecture, along with a bold, modernist art installation.

First in Philadelphia to obtain the prestigious LEED-EB Certification, the building has subsequently upgraded to LEED Silver. Through several sustainable infrastructure investments, the building has reduced its energy use by 29% and its water use by 38% translating into lower operating expenses for the benefit of our tenants and the environment.
